Horus,
the Falcon god, son of Osiris and Isis, is the Ruler of the Skies.
Created by Isis to balance the forces in the Universe after her husband,
Osiris (life, order), was slain by his brother Seth (death, decay).
Isis prevented Horus from slaying Seth in revenge so both good and evil,
darkness and light, creation and decay, could continue to co-exist in the
Universe. Horus protects against the decay of the mummified body. There are
alternate versions of Horus, reflecting the various positions of the sun in the
daytime sky. Perfect for sandplay therapies.
