Isis was an early and important Goddess of ancient Egypt. Unlike other Egyptian gods and Goddesses, she was embraced by the Greeks and Romans and has influence even today.

Isis was revered by the Egyptian people as the great Mother Goddess and represents the maternal spirit. She is a dutiful wife, grieving widow and protector of the dead.
As a winged goddess Isis traveled continually looking for her lost husband. Upon finding him, Isis took the shape of a kite, restoring his life by flapping her wings and filling his mouth and nose with air.

This Egyptian mother Goddess was a great enchantress and taught mankind the ways of medicine.

  • Materials: Resin ivory substitute

Materials: The Isis Figurine image was sculpted and touched-up in a larger size, then miniaturized. Mission Studios statues are individually cast by hand, each one antiqued and polished to highlight its details. The ivory substitute is a proprietary casting material that is warm to the touch and very durable.
Try adding a drop of aromatic oil on the porous backs!
